Title: Bumpy and Zap
Author: Michael J Robinson
Category: Fiction
Price: CH 15.00
Review:
Once upon a time, there was a little boy by the name of Bumby. The kids
made jokes about him. He was very skinny and walked very funny; that's
why they called him Bumpy. He was a very quiet boy.... always by himself.
He didn't have any friends, but had a little pet dog by the name of Zap
- Zap was the only good friend he had.
One day he went out walking with Zap and there
were some kids playing in the playground. They shouted across to Bumpy
calling to him, "Bumpy, dumpy and skinny legs." And calling
his dog, "Zap the wap."
But Bumpy didn't worry about them, he was happy
to go walking with his dog. When he got home, he complained to his parents.
"Don't worry my son" said his dad one day. "Soon they are
all going to call you a little hero".
Bumby's father was a pilot, and his mother a
part-time music teacher. One thing for sure, his parents loved him......
...In school, when it's break time, Bumpy is
always by himself, because the kids won't play with him. He doesn't mind.
"One day I will be a little hero" he said to himself.
When school closes, Bumpy's parents take him
to Gstaad in Switzerland, for skiing holidays........

Review:
Michael J Robinson
Drop-Out lived the typical, directionless life
of a young South London guy who desired more than his world had to offer,
but was unsure how to get it.
Having quit college and a series of respectable
yet dull jobs, he joined the police force. A career in crime-fighting
quickly proved to be his métier, and his ascent through the ranks
to a coveted position at Scotland Yard was unprecedented.
Backed up by a fierce and uncompromising team,
D-O, as he comes to be known, is soon travelling to the four corners of
the globe, busting ugly drug rings in beautiful locations. From Panama
to India, Switzerland to South America, his missions are exercises in
brutality, terror and violence – all for the greater good and safety
of the law-abiding population of the planet. |
